Pinterest has officially confirmed the launch of its updated design. According to the company, the updated look for both Android and iOS devices makes Pinterest even more visual. The update has a renewed focus on personalised recommendations and more efficient use of space.

Key updates are:
A major change is the introduction of personal recommendations at the top of the home feed. Recommendations offer an effective way to find new content are purely based on the Pinterest activity of individual users. You can tap one of the topics of interest to open up a dedicated feed.
Re-organised Navigation Menu
The main navigation bar has search functionalities, where you can easily access the home feed. The ‘following tab’ can be found at the top of the home feed, where you can see a dedicated feed of content from the people you follow.

The platform has introduced an improved profile and board view to make it easy for users to find the ideas of your recently engaged pins. The users can also save their recommended pins with a single tap for future projects.
