Twitter is finally rolling out ‘Promoted Trend Spotlight’ Ad Option, which is going to be a piece of great news for marketers. The feature will enable brands or businesses to showcase their ads in the best possible way for a better impact.
‘Promoted Trend Spotlight’ Ad unit will enable brands to place their ads on the top section of the user’s Explore tab.
The company said that the ‘Promoted Trend Spotlight’ ad unit supports 6-second videos, GIFs and static images. Your ad will appear at the top of the Explore tab for the first two visits per person, per day. The placement will be shifted to the standard Promoted Trend Placement after the initial two visits and organic editorial content resurfaces in the Spotlight placement.
As of now, this feature is available to users in the US, the UK, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Spain, and Thailand.
Much like YouTube’s ‘Masthead’ ads, the ‘Promoted Trend Spotlight’ Ad unit can be the best option for companies to maximise their brand exposure.
