Twitter is Testing a new option which would enable you to switch accounts in Tweet Replies. The new option makes it easy to manage multiple account interactions at a time. Not only is this helpful for people managing multiple accounts, but it is also useful for those having professional and personal accounts which have different followers.
For instance, you might have to handle your own as well as the Twitter account of your brand. Now what happens is that sometimes you will forget to switch accounts and you might post something irrelevant from a brand’s account. Even you may not remember to change account when replying to fans, customers or brand audience.
Similar functionality is already available in TweetDeck – a service that offers Twitter users a comprehensive and free way to manage multiple Twitter accounts.
Now the platform is testing the ability where you easily switch accounts when you are replying to someone. If you want to reply to a post from a professional account, you can easily switch with a tap and vice-versa. Basically, what it means is that you don’t need to log into a different account if you have multiple accounts for replying to a tweet.
Though the feature was spotted by a user, we don’t have much information on when the feature will be available for everyone.
